A HURLING and Elvis superfan has vowed Limerick will be all shook up if Kilkenny brings home the Liam MacCarthy Cup this Sunday.
Myles Kavanagh, 68, has decked out his entire garden in the team colours of black and amber declaring: "We're definitely going to win".
The Elvis impersonator has also painted a throne outside his house located in the Butts area of Kilkenny and believes if a Limerick supporter sits on it, they will lose the All-Ireland.
Speaking to the Irish Mirror, Myles said: "This throne is cursed. We picked it up from an old derelict house. We reckon if any Limerick supporters were to sit on the throne wearing their jersey, they'll lose the All-Ireland.
"We offered €50 to any Limerick supporter who was willing to sit on the throne but nobody has gone for it.
We even put the offer out on Facebook.
"A Limerick man lives up the road and he won't do it either." The garden shrine celebrating both Kilkenny hurling and Elvis attracts countless visitors from all over Ireland and the US.
Myles, who will watch the game with his wife Mary and grandson Preslie, says on match day the town is buzzing with excitement.
Anthony Morrison with tickets GM explained: "On match day, I'll put my Elvis suit on and I'll walk around the town saying 'Up the Cats', I'll walk into every pub in Kilkenny and say 'Go on the Cats', I'll get everybody hyped up.
"People will be saying Go on Elvis, we love ya'. We do it to get the town going.
