SEX Pistols singer John Lydon has told of his “heavy heart” after wife of 44 years Nora Forster died aged 80 following a battle with Alzheimer’s.
The punk icon, 67, became the primary carer for the German music promoter and heiress after she was diagnosed with the disease five years ago.
Only recently, John – also known as Johnny Rotten – had opened up about Nora’s condition from their home in California, saying how fearful he was of life without her.
His official Twitter page confirmed her death yesterday, posting a touching snap of the couple from 2010.
