WOMEN CHARGED WITH DOUBLE MURDER

Defendant extradited from South Africa accused of killing two men in 2014

A WOMAN appeared in court last night accused of murdering two men in 2014.

Ruth Lawrence, 42, was extradited from South Africa. She is charged with killing Dubliners Eoin O'Connor and Anthony  Keegan. At a special sitting of Trim District Court, Detective Raymond Flynn gave evidence of arrest, charge, and caution during the brief hearing.

He said he arrested Lawrence at Dublin Airport for the purpose of charge at 5.15pm.

She was brought to Trim Garda station where Det Flynn charged her with two counts of murder on an unknown date between April 22 and May 26, 2014.
