Alanna tells of her sight loss

A TEENAGER who lost an eye in a violent street attack has recalled seeing her injuries for the first time.

Alanna Quinn Idris, 18, was assaulted in December 2021 and left blind in her right eye.

She also sustained severe facial injuries such as a shattered eye socket.

Last month, Darragh Lyons, 19, was sentenced after what the judge called a "savage attack".
