The Riverdance star received the devastating diagnosis last January and vowed to overcome the disease for a second time.
The performer fought off cancer in the early 2000s when he was treated for melanoma.
He was diagnosed after a fan noticed a mark on his face during an MTV appearance.
But the 65-year-old also said he realises he has a fight on his hands this time around.
