ERIK ten Hag insists he only has one plan to improve the Reds for next season amid uncertainty over the club's ownership.
United's season ended with a 2-1 FA Cup final defeat to City, who secured their second league and cup domestic double ahead of potentially emulating the Reds' treble triumph in the Champions League final next week.
The United co-chairman Avram Glazer was in attendance at Wembley as his family mulled over offers from the Ineos Group and Sheikh Jassim Bin Hamad Al Thani to buy the club. Ten Hag declined to discuss a potential outright takeover of United.
"I have only one plan: that is to improve this club and to improve this team. I will fight for [it]. I have my ideas and I already told the club what we have to do for that.
"But I have to work with my staff, with my players to be better next season. I think in this moment, I don't want to discuss [the possible takeover]. It's about finalising the season.
