AN inspirational woman who has raised around £250,000 for charity has been recognised for her work with a special award.
Angie Wild, a community development coordinator for the Alzheimer's Society, has been raising money for a number of good causes - all focusing on different problems and illnesses.
Originally from Tameside, Angie has now been recognised at the BBC Radio Manchester Make a Difference Awards.
She has raised around £250,000 for different charities including more than £7,000 for the Alzheimer's Society.
