Firefighters based in Horwich, Bolton, scrambled to the scene at about 10.30 am yesterday.
No injuries were reported in the incident, although it’s not known whether anyone was inside the houses at the time. The back of the green-liveried lorry can be shown embedded into the adjoining fronts of two houses on Napier Street in Horwich in the images.
