HEARTFELT tributes have been paid to a 'beautiful and intelligent' young woman who was found dead in Salford Quays.
Charlotte Burlace-Colquhoun, was just 20-years-old and had only just started at university when she was discovered at the Quays on Tuesday morning.
Police raced to the scene, beside the Central Bay and the Salford Watersports Centre, at around 8.20am, with forensics also pictured at the waterside after her body was found. Police had previously issued an appeal after Charlotte had been reported missing.
Paying tribute to Charlotte, who was also known as 'Lottie' to her close friends, her family described her as a 'kind' and 'creative' individual who 'loved people!
The statement said: "My wife, my daughter and I love Charlotte very much and we're already missing her. She was beautiful, intelligent, kind, creative and loved people and cats.
