THE razzle dazzle of Strictly Come Dancing heads to Manchester this weekend - with the arrival of the big live tour of the hit BBC show to the AO Arena. And it will be a special homecoming for the Manchester winner of series 21 - former Corrie star Ellie Leach.
The incredible live shows will bring to life all the magic of the hit BBC entertainment show on a grand arena stage. After more than 10 million viewers tuned into the series 21 finale at Christmas, audiences can once again see some of their favourites go toe-to-toe in ballroom battle.
Seven of the stars from the series will join their professional partners to twirl their way around the UK for 30 spectacular performances across nine huge venues on the Strictly Come Dancing Live Tour.
Reigning champs Ellie and her professional dance partner Vito Coppola will be recreating their sizzling chemistry with their American Smooth and Paso Doble routines, and Ellie is still basking in the glory of that glitterball moment.
“It feels like I’ve just woken up from the best dream ever and I can’t believe that we won,” she says. “I didn’t realise how much it would have an impact on my personal life in terms of how I’ve changed. I’ve become a lot more confident and resilient.”
