Eriksen made 28 appearances across all competitions in 2023/24 but made just 12 starts in the Premier League. The midfielder entered the final year of his contract with United in July and was widely tipped to seal a transfer away from Manchester in search of regular first-team football.
Eriksen stayed beyond the summer window and has enjoyed an unexpected renaissance. The 32-year-old has started in six of his eight appearances so far and has been drafted back into the starting side by Erik ten Hag.
