AS TRAFFIC pulses through Manchester's busy city centre roads, a young man watches on from a billboard. He quietly observes a city he has now departed, but where his legacy is kept alive.
The picture is of Zikel Bobmanuel, a 32-year-old dad-of-four who died in Openshaw in March. Police believe he was shot. As a murder probe continues into his death, his heartbroken mother Justina is left tasked with making sure he is remembered.
The billboard was bought by Justina as a birthday gift to her late son, promoting his passion - clothing brand VayVay Apparel. Named after his eldest daughter Avaya, Vay Vay was Zikel's life work and Justina says the brand helps her stay close to her 'pride and joy!
