A NEW cafe where guests get to mingle with 10 friendly pugs is opening this week.
Already a popular venue in London, Cuppapug will be opening its first cafe in the North West on Chapel Street in Salford on Friday. The idea is that you can book yourself in for an hour and play with the dogs or just simply enjoy their company.
Created by couple Aaron Carty and Matthew Pieterse, Cuppapug has been a big success in London since it opened its doors in 2022. The cafe is so popular that it is now booked out for weeks in advance, with people desperate to spend time with the resident pugs.
Alongside a big ball pit and toys for the pugs to play with, the cafe will also serve a host of dog-themed cakes and drinks to order. There will also be a number of dog-friendly items, like puppuccinos, on the menu too.
“We initially set the cafe up as a place where people can just play with the pugs,” co-owner Aaron told the M.E.N.
