A STUDENT admitted sexually assaulting a friend after a night out in Manchester city centre, texting her: "For some sick reason I put my hands on you." Aaron Wood, who was 19 at the time, had been out with a group before they came home in the early hours.
Prosecutor Christopher Field told Manchester Crown Court the group of friends were staying at a shared student house before they went to a club in the city centre on September 3, 2022. He said: "When they got back, she sent a message to the defendant saying: "Aaron, come to my room, going to order food." "They discussed ordering food before the complainant fell asleep.
She was wearing a playsuit and knickers and had removed her bra prior to falling asleep.
She woke up in the foetal position and felt stubble on her neck and her playsuit being lifted exposing her buttocks and it being put back down before being lifted again and exposing the top of her knickers.
"This happened two to three times before he reached a spooning position behind her and placed his hand on her left breast. Five minutes later he turned over and when she went to get up, he said: 'Oh I did not know you were in here."
She left the house, telling another friend: "Aaron was lifting up my skirt, I don't know exactly what he was doing."
