Green wants final say as Lancs ready to Blast off

Green, 30, is a veteran of 200 career appearances in T20 cricket.

He has played one international for his country, has captained home side Sydney Thunder, has played in the IPL and has won silverware in this format.

Green has also playec in this competition previously for two different counties Birmingham Bears (2019) and Middlesex (2021 and 2022) across three seasons.

But he is yet to reach Finals Day and win this competition.

It is something the South African-born son of two ex-tennis professionals - Chris was a talented junior in that sport himself is desperate to achieve, hoping his third club Lancashire are the lucky ones.

And that bid starts tomorrow night when Lightning welcome Durham to Emirates Old Trafford for their North Group opener (7pm).
