Irn-Bru and rain bring Christmas joy for Alex

TEENAGER Alex Batty said he loved the cold weather and rain' during his first Christmas back in England.

The 17-year-old United fan, from Oldham, was gifted tickets to see his favourite team and cans of the Scottish drink Irn-Bru by his grandmother, he told a national newspaper.

Alex went missing aged 11 in 2017 after a pre-arranged trip to Spain. He returned to the UK on December 16 after he was found near Toulouse in France.
