A SQUABBLING sibling put laxatives in his sister's milk during a bust-up over the inheritance of their family home before she put a camera up near the fridge and caught him red handed.
Robert McCabe's sister Sharon noticed a four-pint bottle smelt of chemicals as the row grew increasingly bitter.
Suspecting something was amiss, she put up a camera with her son's help. McCabe, 69, was rumbled when they watched the footage back. He was hauled before the courts, where his sister spoke in a statement of the impact of his actions.
"I was shocked and saddened that he could be so malicious and vindictive towards me," she wrote.
Minshull Street Crown Court heard defendant McCabe lived at the Heywood house with Sharon and brother Desmond. Their mother earlier rented the home from the council, Daniel Lister, prosecuting, said.
