A JEALOUS and controlling teenager forced his girlfriend to get his name tattooed on her hand - because he was envious that she already had a tattoo showing the name of her deceased ex.
Connor Oldham, 18, waged a campaign of 'verbal and emotional' abuse against his partner, who said she felt 'terrorised in her own home!
Oldham, of Sandgate Avenue in Clayton, also smashed up his girlfriend's phone and strangled her for 90 seconds in another incident.
However, Oldham, was yesterday spared jail at Manchester Minshull Street Crown Court after Judge Geoffrey Lowe felt he could be rehabilitated.
Instead, he was handed a suspended sentence, unpaid work, and rehabilitation activities.
