Travellers faced major disruption at UK airports after the country was hit by heavy fog over the weekend. Manchester was one of a number of airports hit by air traffic restrictions as a result of the weather.
Restrictions affecting Manchester Airport, set by the air traffic controller Nats, continued through to Saturday.
Passengers were hit by delays to several flights over the last three days, with some flights also cancelled amid foggy conditions.
EasyJet passengers also claimed to have been 'stranded' in Tenerife after overnight delays were caused by weather conditions in the UK on Saturday.
Videos taken from Chambery Airport on Saturday showed queues of passengers who arrived at the airport for their return journey to Manchester - to then be told the flight had been rescheduled overnight. It is thought foggy conditions in Chambery also restricted flight capacity.
