TEN HAG ON MEETING WITH INEOS CHIEF RATCLIFFE: ‘WE’RE ON SAME PAGE’
By SAMUEL LUCKHURST
SIGNS ARE GOOD

ERIK ten Hag has enthused about "very positive" meetings he held with new Manchester United investor Sir Jim Ratcliffe.

Sir Jim flew to Manchester this week to formally introduce himself to staff at the club, as the INEOS Group that he owns await regulatory approval from the Premier League for their minority stake of 29%.

INEOS sporting director Sir Dave Brailsford has been a frequent visitor to Carrington over the last week, having visited the training complex back in October.

"Very positive, I have to say," Ten Hag said when asked about the discussions yesterday. "We had a long meeting, so many hours we sit together. On many issues, we were on the same page, very positive from both sides. I can say that it was a very constructive meeting and we're looking forward to working with each other."

Ten Hag also suggested INEOS would implement changes at the club sooner rather than later.
