WHEN most people envision walking down the aisle, it’s usually with a church or a registry office in mind.
But for one couple, the idea of getting married at a charity shop in Tameside was too much of a temptation to resist.
Self-proclaimed charity fanatics Nina and Stefan decided to hold their wedding ceremony at the Emmaus Mossley Secondhand Superstore having been regular customers at the charity shop for more than 15 years.
Staff and volunteers helped transform the ‘quirky’ shop into the perfect venue, with donated church pews setting the scene. An eclectic mix of dining chairs were also set up to seat the more than 100 guests.
“Our wedding day was beyond all expectations,” Nina said.
