SORRY MATE, I DIDN'T EVEN KNOW. I'VE SKITTLED SOMEONE OVER, HAVEN'T I?

A DRUNK BMW driver mowed down and killed a 'fit and healthy' 77-year-old man following a fourday binge.

Tom Ferguson was staying at the Premier Inn hotel in Stockport when staff told him to leave because of his intoxicated behaviour.

Moments later, as Robert Palmer and his wife were walking back to their car after a hospital appointment, Ferguson mounted the pavement and hit the beloved husband.

Ferguson drove off, chased by a member of the public, before crashing into a lamppost He nearby. pleaded guilty to causing death by dangerous driving, causing death whilst disqualified, causing death whilst uninsured and failing to stop at the scene of an accident.
