THE father of a man stabbed to death a set of traffic lights said he had a ‘bad feeling’ on the night his son was found seriously injured, a murder trial has heard.
Sadiq Al-Lami, 30, died hours after an incident on Kingsway in East Didsbury.
He had been stabbed 11 times during a fight after a ‘high-speed pursuit’ involving his and another Mercedes, Minshull Street Crown Court has heard.
The altercation broke out after a black Mercedes C200 containing five men parked next to Mr Al-Lami’s grey Mercedes E220 after 1am on January 23 this year.
Five men are on trial accused of murder. Sultan Bakr, 22, Sikander Babar, 24, his brother, Abdul Babar, 19, Noraiz Kamal, 18, and Yousaf Ahmed, 24, all deny the charge and are standing trial.
