BILASPUR: In a remarkable show of strength to mark his two years in power, Chief Minister Sukhwinder Singh Sukhu declared that Himachal Pradesh will become a fully self-reliant state by 2027 on completion of Congress's five-year term.
He dared the BJP against making attempts to topple his government. The government has a mandate of the people with 40 MLAs in the 68-member House and the people of the state will not tolerate any bid to cut short the period marked by "Vyavastha Parivartan" to self-reliant in resources.
Addressing a massive rally at Luhnu ground of Bilaspur—the home town of BJP National President J P Nadda, Sukhu said he was not afraid of the Opposition BJP, which had been dreaming of dislodging him from power, after having suffered defeat in the 2022 poll.
