Millennium Post Delhi|New Delhi 04January2025
More than 400 flights were delayed at the airport in the national capital on Friday morning as low visibility conditions due to dense fog disrupted operations, according to an official.

Visibility conditions dropped to zero in some areas of the national capital due to the thick blanket of fog.

Meanwhile, the maximum temperature in the city settled at 21.2 degrees Celsius, 1.9 degrees above average and the minimum temperature was recorded at 7 degrees Celsius, the India Meteorological Department (IMD) said. The relative humidity during the day ranged between 74 and 100 percent, it said.

The official said over 400 flights were delayed at the Indira Gandhi International Airport (IGIA) but there were no diversions.
