The MACT court judge Dr. Pankaj Sharma made it clear in the Civil Lines Mercedes hit and run case of Delhi that the father cannot escape his responsibility just by saying that he was unaware of the act of his son.

The MATC court in the case has imposed a fine of Rs 2 crore on the minor’s father. This amount will be given to the family of the 32-year-old marketing consultant who lost his life.
