Chiefs no pushover for champs
The Citizen|September 25, 2024
There are mountains of cash to be won on TAB soccer bets over the next few days with four cashadded pools on Friday and Saturday and before that a guaranteed R8-million Soccer 13 tonight which includes a mixture of English League Cup, LaLiga and UEFA Europa League matches.

Chiefs no pushover for champs

After weeks of waiting for a belated start to the season, clubs in the Betway Premiership now have matches coming thick and fast, including several tasty encounters.

All these PSL games are included in TAB soccer pools and they are all headlined by Saturday's clash at Soccer City when Kaizer Chiefs host champions Mamelodi Sundowns.

But before that, Chiefs play tonight against AmaZulu in Durban in their second outing of the season, having come from behind 11 days ago to beat Marumo Gallants in their opening game of the campaign in Bloemfontein.

Chiefs desperately needed a winning start after their worst season in history in 2023-24, when they finished 10th, and the victory should have given them a much-needed confidence boost for the AmaZulu clash.

Chiefs have a one-sided away record against AmaZulu, having lost only once in their past 18 visits and are expected to get something out of the game in Durban.
