FORM: RYAN’'S CHARGE CAN IMPROVE ON HIS FOURTH PLACE ON DEBUT AT DONCASTER
Hammer to hit the mark at Ayr

Calumet to strike a winning note at Windsor.

With Royal Ascot runner Motawahij a notable absentee, Hammer The Hammer is expected to strike gold in the Irish EBF Maiden Stakes at Ayr today.

Trainer Kevin Ryan has an excellent record with two-year-olds and this son of Coulsty shaped with plenty of promise when fourth on his introduction over 1200m at Doncaster recently.

That form looks strong, with the Cheveley Park-owned winner Chancellor appearing a particularly exciting colt, while the third placed Mission Command has since bolted up at Ripon.

Given the early speed he showed on Town Moor, a drop back to 1000m should not be an issue for Hammer The Hammer in Scotland and he is difficult to oppose.

Alpine Sierra is of interest in the Racing TV Profits Returned To Racing Handicap.
