With a new year approaching, I believe it would be more than appropriate to pause for a moment and observe where we stand. This applies to each individual, business and the nation as a whole. It is the latter on which I wish to focus for the moment.
Without going into details of the mismanagement of the country over the past 30 years by those at the very top, the self-enrichment at the expense of those who have the least, the inefficiency of so many appointments, reckless cadre deployment creating the largest public service in the world, rotten service delivery. One could go on and on.
