Baloyi said in Soweto yesterday he would deregister his political party, Xiluva, and throw his support behind the MK party.
"We as the executive of Xiluva unanimously agreed that we are going to deregister Xiluva. We will all effectively as the executive join the MK party," he said.
Baloyi thanked his supporters and encouraged them to also join the MK party in their respective areas.
He said he had been approached by various parties who wanted him to join their ranks.
