ACHIEVEMENTS OF PAST DECADE JUST A 'TRAILER', LOT MORE TO COME: PM MODI

Showcasing the development works undertaken during the rule of the BJP-led NDA at the Centre over the last 10 years under his leadership, Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Thursday said at a rally in Bihar that the achievements of the past decade was just a ‘trailer’ as a lot more would follow to take India and Bihar forward.

At another rally in West Bengal’s Cooch Behar, the PM said the BJP has decided that it will stop atrocities against women and ensure that the accused of Sandeshkhali get punished and spend the rest of their life in prison.

Addressing a campaign rally in Bihar’s Jamui, he said he had seen poverty from close quarters and that is why he wants all poor to achieve their dreams. “You should mark my words that it is Modi’s guarantee that your dream’s fulfilment will be my pledge,” he said, adding that the visible public mood is in favour of giving a third term to BJP.

The enthusiasm among the people is showing that the people of Bihar have decided to give all 40 seats to NDA, the PM said.

He also highlighted India’s growing stature at the global stage that has made it a world leader. The country today is so strong that it hits the enemy after entering his home, he said, also highlighting the success of Chandrayan mission.
