BIDEN LAUNCHES 'UKRAINE COMPACT' TO ADDRESS KYIV'S DEFENCE NEEDS

President of the United States, Joe Biden on Friday while addressing 32 allies of Ukraine at Walter E Washington Convention Center, launched Ukraine Compact as per the Joint Declaration of Support for Ukraine of 2023.
BIDEN LAUNCHES 'UKRAINE COMPACT' TO ADDRESS KYIV'S DEFENCE NEEDS

Biden, while addressing delegates from 20 countries and the European Union, announced that they would support Ukraine’s immediate defence and security needs for its long-term security. He said that the Compact creates a unified and comprehensive security architecture to support Ukraine today and in the future, in war, and in peace.

Biden said that Ukraine’s security is integral to the security of the Euro-Atlantic region and beyond.
