The Division bench comprising of Chief Justice Sheel Nagu and Justice Sudhir Singh was hearing the present matter.
The bench in the case issued notice and has asked the Haryana Government to provide an affidavit detailing the number of districts in which a helpline for elders has been established.
Adding to it, the court stated that, if it has not been established, the government must explain why.
The court also directed the Haryana government to provide a timeline for the establishment of the elderly helpline.
