Minister for Housing, Information and Public Relations, Kolusu Parthasarathy said on Saturday that all the irrigation experts at the grassroots play a crucial role and the association with them would be revived.

Minister Parthasarathy said that the government's goal is to bring irrigation water to every last piece of land.

He said that the state government is giving high priority to water resources and agricultural sectors.

He said that the state Chief Minister has paid special attention to strengthen the irrigation association system.

He said that efforts are being made to remove all obstacles in the agricultural sector and benefit the farmers.

He said that the government has recognized that the farmer's expertise is very necessary to help the struggling farmers.

He explained that the irrigation associations that were getting weak are being revived with the decisions taken by the state Chief Minister Nara Chandrababu Naidu.

He said that the elections to these irrigation associations or water communities were held in a peaceful atmosphere without any clashes anywhere in the state.
