CM pledges ₹5C for bronze statue of Bhaktin Mata Rajim

In a significant announcement at a program organized by the Sahu Samaj in Rajim, Chhattisgarh Chief Minister Vishnu Deo Sai declared a grant of Rs 5 crore for the installation of a grand bronze statue of Bhaktin Mata Rajim.

The event, held in the land renowned for its historical and religious significance, marked the occasion of Rajim Bhaktin Mata Jayanti.

Rajim, often referred to as the Prayagraj of Chhattisgarh, is known for its sacred confluence of the Sondhur, Parry, and Mahanadi rivers, which is also recognized as Triveni Sangam.

The Mahanadi river flowing through the area is reverently called Papamochini, akin to the Ganga in other parts of India.
