Tell us about your photographic journey so far.
Rohinton Mehta

I started my photography in 1995 when I took membership of The Photographic Society of India. I could meet great artists and teachers there. I learnt from them. Photography is a craft first and is required to be mastered. I started black and white photography and learnt the technique of developing and printing B & W film. Then I entered the area of wildlife photography. I visited almost all wildlife photography destinations in our country. There after I started to visiting Kenya, Tanzania since 2012. Then I visited South Africa, Botswana and Namibia. I also indulged in landscape and travel photography by repeatedly visiting Europe, Japan, Vietnam and Indonesia. I am still learning and still think that there is scope for improvement.

Travel and landscape photography seem to be your forte. What prompted you to opt for these genres?
