Perni Nani was asked what action should be taken if 7,577 bags of ration rice suddenly disappeared from the government's warehouse
METRO INDIA NEWS | AMARAVATI

Andhra Pradesh State Mines and Excise Minister Kollu Ravindra came down heavily on Sunday against former minister Perni Nani alleging that he was doing politics by using the name of his wife. A case has been registered against Perni Nani's wife Jayasudha in Machilipatnam in the case of ration rice theft in a godown belonging to her. To avoid arrest in this case, Perni Nani, who is already trying to get anticipatory bail in the court, has accused a minister in AP of trying to arrest his wife in this case. He questioned why cases are being filed against women.

Countering these criticisms, Kollu Ravindra said that those who do wrong, whether they are women or men, should be punished.
