Over the past 20 days, Ahmedabad has recorded nine murders, exposing deep-seated issues and prompting a serious response from law enforcement authorities. The city police, led by Commissioner G S Malik, have launched measures to address this spike, including the suspension and transfer of negligent officers.
Details of the Murders:
The wave of violence began on November 10 with the tragic murder of Priyanshu Jain, a student of the Mudra Institute of Communications (MICA). Jain was fatally stabbed by a police constable following an argument over rash driving in Bopal.
