Chief Minister Nara Chandrababu Naidu on Tuesday said that Andhra Pradesh would become the drone capital in the country in days to come. Recalling Andhra Pradesh's role in India's IT revolution, Naidu emphasized the state's ability to adapt to emerging technologies. He highlighted the successful use of drones during the Vijayawada floods, demonstrating their potential applications in various sectors.

"Andhra Pradesh has always been at the forefront of adapting cutting-edge technology to solve pressing challenges", he said.

On this occasion, Naidu announced the allocation of 300 acres of land in Orvakallu of Kurnool District to establish a drone hub and shared his plans to train 35,000 individuals as drone pilots, making Andhra Pradesh a human resource powerhouse in this field. He said that a comprehensive drone policy will be released within 15 days to create a conducive environment for drone businesses.
