In yet another anxious bid to recover property tax amounting to massive Rs1,672 crore which remains unpaid for a decade, the BMC has started the process to auction 90 properties seized from big defaulters.

The final due date for the payment of property tax for the first half of the fiscal 2024-25 is December 13.
