The work on India's first 7km undersea rail tunnel, which is a part of the 21km long tunnel between BKC and Shilin Mumbai has phata commenced, National High Speed Rail Corporation (NHSRCL) said in its latest update. NHSRCL is overseeing the ambitious Mumbai-Ahmedabad bullet train project.
In the latest update, it said 194km of viaduct and 322km of pier work have been completed, three steel bridges spanning 70mt, 100mt and 130mt are completed in Surat, Anand and Vadodara, respectively.
