Maharashtra nodal cyber department has arrested the security director of Dreamll, a fantasy sports platform, from Bengaluru for allegedly hacking the firm's data and trying to extort money by threatening to dump the code on dark web.
The accused, Abhishek Pratap Singh, works for Sports Technology Pvt. Ltd, which is popularly known as Dream11. The firm, which now has 200 million users, was founded in 2008 by Harsh Jain, Bhavit Sheth and Varun Daaga.
