Relief awaits the harried local train commuters of Mumbai, all in good time-five years, to be precise. Union Railway Minister Ashwini Vaishnaw has said that his ministry will be introducing an additional 250 suburban local trains for Mumbai in five years, to reduce pressure on the existing services. Similarly, 50 to 100 long-distance trains too will be introduced for commuters.
