Heavy rains battered many regions of state, including Bhopal, in the last 24 hours. Rescue operations were launched at a couple of places to save lives. Bhopal too experienced moderate to heavy rains from morning till afternoon.
Normal life was thrown out of gear in areas affected by heavy rains. Rescue operation was launched in Chhatarpur district. On Tuesday night, Balaghat administration got a village evacuated fearing flash flood. Bhopal received 61.6 mm rainfall in the last 24 hours. On Wednesday it received 48 mm rainfall.
