The hike in medical charges is a part of the state government's mandate to increase fees across all health services in all its hospitals across Karnataka.
Four hospitals - Victoria, Vani Vilas, Minto Eye Hospital and the Super Specialty Hospital and Trauma Centre under the BMCRI are the first to implement the rule.
