IIM, IIT come up with dual degree

The Indian Institute of Management (IIM) Mumbai has signed a memorandum of understanding with the Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Dhanbad to launch a dual degree programme.

The initiative seeks to integrate technical knowledge with managerial expertise, equipping students with a well-rounded education that meets the evolving needs of industries globally, said IIM Mumbai Director Professor Manoj K Tiwari. This partnership is not IIM Mumbai's first such endeavour. A similar dual degree programme was introduced last year in collaboration with IIT Patna, which has already proven successful.
