Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Saturday inaugurated the much-awaited ColabaBandra-SEEPZ Metro 3, Mumbai's first underground rail transport. The major infrastructure boost marks the partial opening of the 12.69-km stretch between Aarey-JVLR and the Bandra-Kurla Complex (BKC), featuring 10 operational stations.
The phase 1 has been completed at a whopping cost of around Rs14,120 crore.
