PRAJWAL'S VICTIM SHARES MURKY DETAILS

In a fresh case against disgraced Hassan Janata Dal (Secular) MP Prajwal Revanna, a 44-year-old former Zilla Panchayat member has alleged that she was threatened before being raped multiple times.

In her complaint recorded before the judge under CrPC section 164 (making statement in front of the judge), the victim alleged that she was raped for the first time at the MP's quarters when she met Prajwal to seek his help to start a girls hostel in her town.

"After seeing other women who had come to meet him, Prajwal called me inside the room and asked me to remove my clothes. When I didn't agree, he threatened that he has a gun and could even harm my husband. He said that it is because of my husband that his mother (Bhavani Revanna) didn't get an MLA ticket. So, ask him to be careful, he told me. Also, If I want to grow politically I should listen to what he has to say," the victim stated.
