Struck by bike, run over by BEST bus

Forty-eight hours after the BEST bus tragedy in Kurla, in which seven persons were killed and 42 injured on Monday night, comes the news of a 55-year-old man, Hussainar Andunhi, being run over by a BEST bus after being struck by a motorcyclist and being hurled in the path of a bus passing by, near Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj Terminus (CSMT), on Wednesday.

The accident occurred outside the office of the Deputy Commissioner of Police Office (Zone 1) on Walchand Hirachand Marg. The MRA Marg Police Station has registered a case against an unidentified biker.

The incident occurred after an unidentified motorcyclist hit the pedestrian, causing him to fall under the rear wheel of the bus, according to officials. A case has been registered against the unknown biker and police are actively searching for the culprit.
