Shiv Sena (UBT) Chief Uddhav Thackeray launched a scathing attack on the BJP and its top leaders at the party convention in Pune on Saturday.
Terming the BJP's political activities as "Satta Jihad", he said, "The BJP keeps targeting the minorities over many things like inter-religion marriage calling it Love Jihad, but the BJP is doing all kinds of unscrupulous things like dividing regional parties, taking away MLAs from other parties and other actions, I must say they are indulging in "Satta Jihad".
Addressing thousands of party activists and members of the Shiv Sena (UBT), Thackeray specifically targeted BJP leader and Union Home Minister Amit Shah calling him "the political successor of Ahmed Shah Abdali", who set up the Durrani empire in Afghanistan in 1747.
He was responding to a charge a few days ago at the BJP state convention held in Pune where Amit Shah had called "leader of Aurangzeb fan club".
